As others have said it's absorbed moisture (the entire spool most likely) but please don't give companies money for a filament dryer unless you plan on keeping the filament in there 24/7, they're a massive waste of money unless you're putting your filament in there around 6-7 hours before you plan to print, there are loads of videos on Youtube showing that none of them raise the ambient temperature high enough to remove moisture, you can prove this yourself with a humidity gauge too if you own one, they do nothing.Įither store your filament properly or pop it in an oven for 10 minutes before you use it.
